Anybody Can Be A Bride Today
We know a "Bride" as the beautiful woman at a wedding, but if you are confused by the use of the word "Bride" in this blog...this term is used because we should be living a life in constant preparation for His return just as a "Bride" is constantly preparing to get ready on her wedding day (Revelation 21). We do this by having a relationship with Jesus and living a life that is pleasing to Him. The Christian Church eagerly awaits our wedding day with the Lord! If you have any questions or would like to talk about how to become part of the "Bride" and don't know who to ask, you can ask me, I would love to lead you into a relationship with Him. Read John 3:16 if nothing else!

So Thankful
Life is what you put into it, Life is a bowl full of cherries, If life gives you lemons then make lemonade, Is your glass half full or half empty. Any of these sayings can mean complete opposites to two different people who look at the same life situation or circumstance. I always think of the words from a song, "Every day is a gift that you've been given, live the most of your life every minute you're in it!"
My husband and I have received the ultimate gift of a little life for us to raise so the last 4 1/2 months have been extremely blissful:)...to say the least. We are so thankful for what God had in store for us this whole time! It definitely IS different raising "our own" just like everyone has always said, I can't help but think of the love I have and may always carry for the foster kids we have brought into our home thus far. God sure had a creative way of giving me kids in life and I'm so thankful to have walked this journey. I am even more touched than I knew to be actively involved with the children's ministry at our church lately. I have built a love for those kids and it brings such joy to my heart to see them hearing the gospel, hearing them interact and converse about it and having fun while doing it...such great ways to imbed that info in their minds and hearts. Today is only the first day of a week full of Vacation Bible School fun and I'm already overwhelmed and blessed by the people involved with volunteering and the kids' great attitudes when encouraged!!! I love children more than I realized. What a precious set of tears to cherish and remember! "Let the children come to Me" Matthew 19:14
